Firstly,
don't panic! All the free resources, information and games that you are
used to are still available absolutely free just like they always were.
However, you now have the opportunity to subscribe to Phonicsplay and
make the whole Phonicsplay experience even better.
All the same pages
and resources from the free site (plus many more new resources) are now
available without the annoying adverts. Relax in the knowledge that
children can play the games without being bombarded by advertisers.
2 - Exclusive
access to the newest (and we think best yet) games
All new resources
will initially be made available to members only. The latest
interactive games and printables to be released, can only be viewed by
subscribers. At least two brand new resources will be released each
month to subscribers only. Over time, older resources will be moved
onto the free areas of the site but you may have to wait quite some
time before this happens. Take a look at the bottom of this page to see
what is available at the moment. Subscribe to get access to these
resources right now.
3 - Lots of help
with the dreaded Phase 5
Many of the new
games are based around Phase 5. Phase 5 contains some of the trickiest
subject knowledge and is one of the hardest areas to keep filled with
fun. As a teacher, you can cut your preparation time to a minimum by
signing up. Just let Phonicsplay and your interactive whiteboard guide
you and your children through.
4 - Individual
subscriptions for only £10 per year (less than a nice cup of
coffee per month)
Your login and
password allows you to access to all the new resources and ad free
areas for one year.
Teachers -
As an individual user you are very welcome to use Phonicsplay on your
home or classroom PC (and share it with your class using an interactive
whiteboard) but please don't share your login details with anyone else.
Parents -
Sign up as an individual user and you and your family can access the
site without worrying about any annoying adverts. You do not need a
separate subscription for each family member and you may sign up from
different computers (for example if you go on holiday) but please make
sure that your login details are only used to access the site from one
computer at a time.
5 - Get everyone
to join the fun (and raise standards) - Whole School Subscriptions for
only £100 per year
The more people in
your school using Phonicsplay, the more fun children (and teachers)
will be having and the more learning will be going on. Fun isn't an
optional extra in phonics teaching. Quality phonics teaching has to be
fast, fun and systematic or it simply doesn't work. My experience of
training teachers and supporting schools has taught me that in just
about every primary classroom (even in Y5 and Y6) there are children in
need of help with their phonics. Feedback from teachers is that they
too would invariably like much more support with teaching phonics.
Phonics has the power to turn schools around and it has the power to
turn children's lives around. Sign your school up today and get
everybody involved. Your login and password allows up to 35 people to
access the site from the school at any time (ie several classes could
be playing games on their interactive whiteboards whilst another class
of children are all accessing a game in the computer suite).
6 - Support the
Phonicsplay site
The site has grown
in popularity more than I could have ever guessed or hoped for. This
has been a wonderful surprise but has meant that costs (both financial
costs and time costs) have increased. By subscribing, you are
supporting the site to continue growing, developing and improving. If
you have found the site useful and enjoyable, please consider
subscribing.
7 - Payments are
handled securely by PayPal
To ensure your
security, all payments will be handled by PayPal. Credit and debit card
details will never be made known to us here at Phonicsplay. Please
note, there is no need to sign up for a PayPal account if you do not
wish to. Simply find the section on the PayPal page that is headed "Don't
have
a
Paypal
account?" to pay by debit or credit card.
