Phase 5
Click on the pictures below to play the free interactive phonics games. Phase 5 refers to the phases in Letters and Sounds. Phase 5 introduces children to some new GPCs, it teaches that some graphemes have alternative pronunciations and that some phonemes can have more than one spelling. It is suggested that children should begin this phase in Year 1 - please note that all children are different and develop at a different rate.
